Model of a Stress-based Reality
Theory of boredom addiction gave way to Stress Induced Cognitive Impairment. A model of the illness that turns humans into robotic ritual addicts finds support from many science papers. Programmers who have this are limited in their skills and efficiency. Quality is achieved not by any particular method but a new mindset. If adopted by most members this new mindset can result in a metamorphosis in productivity in programming teams. Mindfulness and stress free, enriching environments are the basis of acquiring this mindset.
Toxoplasmosis gondii, Alcoholism and Addictions, War stress (even from previous generations through epigenetics), news stress and socialisation stress - all cause and maintain stress. Stress in turn results in cognitive impairment. Habit seeking and rote decision making take over the person's normal behaviour and thinking, curiosity wanes, so does ideation, people start to engage in ritualistic, routine lives. They live their lives in terms of procedures. Discriminative and critical thinking as well as self-awareness happen rarely. Many higher cognitive powers disappear with chronic stress.
Some people (approximately 20 % of the population) are aware of this and they get out of the these vicious cycles but then fall back into self-inflicted mindless routines for example alcoholism and obesity.
Some are immune to this mechanism(approximately 3%), they have a depressed dopamine level in their brain due to D4 r7 polymorphism. Many of immune people see no necessity in dealing with the worlds normals on their terms. Sixty six percent of them are 'medicated' with methylphenidate in the USA. They report experiencing becoming robot-like.
